AviaAM Leasing delivers two Airbus A321 aircraft to Yamal Airlines
AviaAM Leasing, a WSE listed global aviation holding company engaged in commercial aircraft acquisition, leasing and sales, has announced the delivery of two Airbus A321s to a Russian carrier Yamal Airlines. The aircraft have supplemented two CRJ200s which were delivered by AviaAM Leasing earlier in December.
At the moment Yamal Airlines already operates ten Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft, leased and introduced to the fleet with the support of AviaAM Leasing. According to the latest agreement, on behalf of the client, AviaAM Leasing has acquired two Airbus A321-200s, a new aircraft type in the company’s portfolio, and conducted all the modifications required for aircraft operation in the Russian Federation. The company has also conducted comprehensive aircraft livery change and interior design works in accordance with the Yamal Airlines’ requirements and corporate identity enhancing specifications. Following the successful completion of the aforementioned works, the two aircraft have been already delivered to one the carrier’s bases.
Based on its fleet renewal strategy, the expanding network of 30+ domestic and international destinations as well as an excellent track record of successful cooperation with AviaAM Leasing, Yamal Airlines has decided to continue working with the same provider and expanding their fleet by adding regional jets analogous to the ones operated to date.
