AviaAM Leasing delivers Boeing 737 to Aurora Airlines
AviaAM Leasing, a WSE listed global aviation holding company engaged in commercial aircraft acquisition, leasing and sales, is further expanding its customers list by entering into an aircraft leasing agreement with a Russian carrier Aurora Airlines. In accordance with the contract, AviaAM Leasing has delivered one Boeing 737-500 aircraft to the carrier thus supporting Aurora’s expanding activities in the Far East region of the Russian Federation.
In cooperation with the carrier AviaAM Leasing has accomplished full aircraft interior refurbishment, implementation of all required modifications as well as livery change and delivered Boeing 737-500 aircraft to Aurora’s habitual base at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport (UUS), Russia. The aircraft is adhering to Aurora’s fleet under 5-years long operational leasing arrangement. AviaAM Leasing is delighted to be chosen by a new rising Russian airline, and endeavors to cultivate more comprehensive partnership with Aurora Airlines in the upcoming years.
Aurora Airlines, a newly established regional Russian airlines brand, was formed by its parent company – Aeroflot-Russian Airlines – by amalgamating SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia. Currently, the Aurora’s fleet consists of 12 aircraft, including Airbus A319 and Boeing 737 as well as regional Bombardier Q200/Q300 aircraft. In less than five years Aurora plans to expand its fleet to 40 aircraft.
